RCUSA Advocacy Days

Our friends at Refugee Council USA are hosting their annual Advocacy Days in Washington, D.C. from June 8-10th. Our team will be participating and we invite you to join us! We’ll take part in legislative meetings with our representatives and gather as a We Choose Welcome community for coffee or dinner (depending on the schedule). Do you know someone in your community who has experienced forced displacement? We encourage you to invite them to come along with you. Consider ways that you, your church, or other community might be able to support that person to make it possible for them to attend and share their story. 

Please note that participants are responsible for their own transportation and lodging. RCUSA is planning the event and we are excited to take part in it!
