I am a graphic designer, avid reader, and homeschool mom of four. In 2015 the stories of Syrian refugees in the news broke my heart and inspired me to seek out more refugee and immigrant stories. Since then I have read many books written by and about those who have fled their homes. These stories have inspired me to take action and I am excited to work with We Welcome, connecting Floridians to the work and designing content, to advocate for the many more that those stories represent.
