I am a recent graduate from Liberty University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Spanish. I first became interested in the refugee crisis in 2016 when I had the opportunity to visit the Syrian refugee camps in Thessaloniki, Greece on a short term missions trip with my youth group. Since meeting these people and hearing their stories first-hand, my heart has been captivated to advocate for them. I believe it is our responsibility, as Christians, to welcome the most vulnerable of people because this is how Christ welcomed me.
